FRINGE 2015 – Arrested, Under-Developed & Under-Medicated – Published Arthouse – 4K

If magic shows are your thing, then this show is a must see. 4K

FRINGE 2015 – Rust & Vinyl – Convention Centre – 4K

From the moment that the dulcet tones of Jacob Morris and then the uber voice of Tim Bartel led off there was a noticeable shortening of breath across the large audience in the Convention Centre Hall for it was obvious we were in for something special. 4K

FRINGE 2015 – Le Gateau Chocolat – Icons – Garden / Deluxe – 1.5K

I think it a stretch to describe Le Gateau as a drag queen act, I think a man in drag would be sufficient. 1.5K

FRINGE 2015: Hot Brown Honey – Royal Croquet Club – Ukiyo – 4K

CABARET FESTIVAL – Johanna Allen – 4.5K

Funny, charming, sexy, at times sombre but also uplifting, this is one excellent show, a highlight of the entire Festival. 4.5K

In this incarnation of the show, we heard …

CABARET FESTIVAL – Colin Hay – 4K

This was a fine 90 minutes of entertainment and certainly Colin Hay is a survivor still very much on top of his game. 4K

CABARET: Yon and His Prism of Sexy Thoughts – Art Space Gallery – 3.5K

Simon Hall, better known as Yon, has swapped his Tripod bandmates for solo leading-man status and the eighties inspired musical accompaniment (all the drum machines) of Georgia Mooney and Nao Anzai. Yon got the crowd onside straight away and knew exactly how to interact with them successfully. The demand for audience participation in the first song …
